graphics and pre-press team is equipped with the latest graphic software
technology and state-of-the-art equipment allowing J.N. White Designs
to offer our customers a full line of design and pre-press services.
Whether
you need custom artwork created or previous artwork recreated,
J.N. White Designs has the capabilities to mirror your visions.
Our
artwork is 100% computer generated—created with MacIntosh computers.
Our
software is continuously upgraded
to the newest versions of the most widely used desktop publishing
applications, allowing the swiftest creation of new artwork,
as well as the easy transfer
of your previously created art files.

We primarily use Adobe Illustrator for our graphics, and
we prefer an Autocad .dxf or .dwg file for dimensions.

pre-press: what
we need from you
In order to quote your job, we only need pdf files
of your blueprints (drawings) and your artwork
(graphics). To produce your job, we need the
following available: a dxf or dwg file for dimensions,
an artwork file (graphics), and a pdf file for visual
comparison (in case there are font issues or other
errors that can occur when translating your files to
our computer system.
IMPORTANT! Please send all art files with fonts converted to outlines (curves) or include your fonts with your file. If you cannot embed the fonts, please
be sure to send a pdf file. Pdf’s have option to embed
all fonts.
